One of the many blessings that has come with the recent launch of What Does It Mean To Be Safe?, by Rana DiOrio, is that we have had the opportunity to research different aspects of safety and the organizations that help to foster them. In our research, we were lucky to come across Rally Family Visitation Services, just in time to participate in their upcoming event, Through the Eyes of Children.
Rally Family Visitation Services was launched by the San Francisco Unified Family Court in 1991, and eventually was adopted by the Saint Francis Memorial Hospital in San Francisco. Rally provides supervised visitation and monitored exchange services for children who are separated from one of their parents. Families with children who may be at risk of emotional or physical harm following their parents' separation or divorce are often referred to Rally by the Family Court. Rally offers a safe and secure environment for these children to experience healthy and nurturing relationships with their parents. In the last year alone, Rally has served 300 adults and 203 children in the bay area.

Little Pickle Press is excited to be sponsoring and participating in Through the Eyes of Children, which takes place on Wednesday, September 14th and serves to celebrate the 20th Anniversary of this wonderful organization, and to honor the San Francisco Unified Family Court Mediators as well as the Saint Francis Memorial Hospital Security Staff.
We are offering event guests the opportunity to support Rally’s efforts by purchasing What Does It Mean To Be Safe, or one of our other award-winning titles. Guests will have the option of purchasing books to donate to the Rally visitation center, or to give to the little pickles in their lives, with 20% of the proceeds going to Rally. We hope that our contribution will help Rally continue to support families and children in need of a safe environment.
What do you think? Are you familiar with Rally? Do you know of another wonderful organization that strives to create safe environments for families and children? Please share!

I look forward to participating in the Rally event next week. It is another way that Little Pickle Press gives back to the community and our most valuable assets, our children.

a perfect cause for LPP and this book!
Rally is a great organization that does much needed work throughout the city. Twenty years of vital community service certainly deserves this recognition and support.

Thank you LPP, for bringing awareness and support to this event and the beneficial services provided by Saint Francis Memorial Hospital that help families who may be going through difficult times.
