Most people who understand yoga, understand the mind/body connection. If you want a flexible body, it helps to have a flexible mind. We're delighted to talk to our beautiful blogging friend,
Victoria Klein, at her luscious yoga and art
blog, and want to mention that Victoria is also an author, who recently wrote
27 Things To Know About Yoga and
48 Things To Know About Sustainable Living. Since Little Pickle Press is an environmentally-focused publisher, it's clear that we are kindred spirits when it comes to books and living. Jump over to Victoria's blog right now and don't forget to comment over there to

This is Day 3 of the blog book tour for
Your Fantastic Elastic Brain: Stretch It, Shape It by
JoAnn Deak Ph.D. and illustrated by
Sarah Ackerley. This innovative and timely picture book is a fun and engaging way to teach children that they have the ability to stretch and grow their own brains.

For me, Victoria´s blog is very interesting and I love the focus. As a fan of yoga for many years, it is tremendously powerful esp when blended with a mindful approach. Love the synergy with LPP.
It is so interesting to look at Dr. Deak's book in term of body movements and yoga. Of course we know that movement and cognition go together so it makes perfect sense. I will share these thoughts with my faculty at Twin Parks Montessori Schools in NYC (www.twinparks.org)
Until this post, I never thought about Your Fantastic Elastic Brain book in terms of body movements and yoga or any form of exercise. This makes perfect sense. These are very informative posts. Thank you all.
Victoria Klein is a sage yogini. We are so grateful to have had the opportunity to share Your Fantastic Elastic Brain with her community today.
I enjoyed Victoria's post and her explanation of the mind-body connection. What a great way to teach children that their minds can stretch, as well as their bodies--and the importance of both!
A very interesting and enlightening post on Victoria's blog.

Great promotion so far. I usually push for outdoors education for our youth, but reading and stretching your body and mind are a great part of it - good luck with this tour!
Great post on Victoria's blog, Dani. Your brain is definitely fantastic and elastic! BTW, my blog post opening the tour got upwards of three dozen comments, and a great discussion on brains, books, and illustration with comments by both the author and the illustrator. What fun!
